Colorado-Eagle River Ride Volunteer and Event Coordinator (Edwards, CO)

The Colorado-Eagle River Ride Volunteer and Event Coordinator will support the planning and execution of the 16th annual Colorado Eagle River Ride set for July 22, 2017. This is SOS Outreach’s largest fundraiser of the year and draws in over 650 riders for the (1) 100, 68 - or 42 - mile road ride and (2) MTB ride on Beaver Creek Resort. This is a part-time, contracted role that will begin immediately with up to 4 hours a week leading up to the event and full-time the week of the event and day-of. Compensation will be $16/hour. This position will report to Development and Marketing Director and will support in planning, execution and serve as day-of contact for the event. The full position description and application instructions are available here.

 

Summer Backyard Adventure Guide (Edwards, CO)

SOS Outreach is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in introducing youth to outdoor leadership skills and outdoor recreation in wilderness settings. Backyard Adventure Guides must be passionate about working with youth of varied ages and from diverse backgrounds. As a model for positive growth, instructors will provide the support, safety, and guidance needed for youth to foster an appreciation for nature, learn the skills necessary to participate in outdoor experiences, and become part of a group learning atmosphere. The full position description and application instructions are available here.

Mission Continues Fellowship

A Mission Continues Fellowship is an opportunity for military veterans involving 20 hours of service per week for 26 weeks at a local nonprofit organization.
