Financial Administrative Assistant Overview

The Financial Administrative Assistant reports to the Director of People and Systems and will be an integral component of the national team of SOS Outreach. A successful candidate for this position will manage day to day bookkeeping, assist with federal, state and local filings, and support national staff operations. The right candidate for this position will have the ability to adapt to change and work independently completing tasks as required without direct supervision.

Core Accountabilities

Report to the Director of People and Systems to complete projects that expand the organization’s operating capacity including the maintenance and management of the following systems:

Minimum Education and Experience

A combined minimum of one year experience in the following: basic bookkeeping/accounting; office management or administrative assistant; system implementation; human resources and onboarding experience. Comparable experience in terms of time and background in similar fields and education/degrees will be considered.

Physical Aspects of the Job

This position requires the ability to: travel within the service area; use the computer, telephone, and electronic mail systems; lift 50 pounds; and lead meetings and speak in public.

Compensation

This is a part-time hourly position paying $22 to $25 per hour. Benefits include paid time off (based on eligible conditions) paid sick leave, Pro Deals, and a season pass.
