5 Reasons to Support SOS Outreach During Live PC Give PC
Live PC Give PCis an opportunity to support the nonprofits that make Park City an extraordinary place to live.
Here are five reasons donors choose SOS Outreach.
1. Your Gift Will Be Matched
Every donation made during Live PC Give PC will be matched, helping provide even more mentorship and outdoor opportunities for local youth.
It’s one of the easiest ways to maximize your charitable impact.
2. You’re Investing in Local Young People
SOS Outreach serves more than 600 youth annually across Summit, Wasatch, and Salt Lake counties.
Programs at Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley give young people access to experiences that build confidence and resilience while removing financial barriers to participation.
3. Mentorship Changes Lives
Every participant is paired with a caring adult mentor who provides encouragement, guidance, and consistency throughout the season.
The results are clear:
96% of participants report having adults who care about them.
94% say they feel a sense of belonging.
95% feel connected through community programs.
Strong relationships create stronger futures.
4. Your Donation Creates Lasting Impact
SOS Outreach isn’t just about learning to ski or snowboard.
Youth develop leadership skills, participate in community service, strengthen social-emotional skills, and gain the confidence to pursue their goals long after the season ends.
Many alumni return years later as mentors, instructors, and community leaders.
5. You’re Building a Stronger Park City
When young people thrive, communities thrive.
Your donation helps ensure that every child—regardless of financial circumstances—has access to caring mentors, meaningful outdoor experiences, and opportunities to discover their potential.
That’s an investment that benefits all of Park City.
