25th Winter Season Underway
This month kicks off winter program registration across SOS locations! This winter, over 3,500 youth across the country will experience skiing and snowboarding alongside service learning and positive adult mentorship opportunities. As part of the registration process, our youth participants set goals for the upcoming year. One of Summit County’s senior participants recently shared his goals for the upcoming season:
— Be the first one in my family to go to college
— Be a student/athlete leader
— Set goals and accomplish them
— Push myself to higher standards
These goals will serve as a foundation for the relationship between him and his mentor for the rest of the season. With the support of our family of volunteers, mountain partners, rental technicians, instructors, and supporters like you, we are more excited than ever to get participants into these life-changing mentor relationships and onto the slopes.
